Each institution is responsible for reviewing the data they submitted via HEDSLive and certifying it accuracy.
How forms move through the various statuses in HEDSLive.
Requested – 1st status when IRS rolls over the forms for the new collection year. This is an automatic status.
Started – As soon as a form is opened it moves into this status. This status is automated.
Submitted – Forms for which data are entered or uploaded into HEDSLive and Saved/Submitted, this status is applied automatically.
Certified – Institutions must certify their data once they have reviewed and attest to its accuracy.
Accepted – IRS will use this status to indicate we have found no issues with the data submitted.
